Full Stack Web Developer

Boosted course count by 10% and course enrollment by 25% and minimized over three GBs of unnecessary production logs by streamlining search component and server-side logging. Demonstrated strong leadership abilities while planning the DeCal Expo aimed at providing a platform for 50 facilitators and their courses. Highlighted the need for a decrease in codebase and transition to a modern framework, initiating the creation of the new DeCal website using React.js and Express for 25000 monthly users. Moderated the DeCal Piazza Forum with 250 facilitators sharing their resources and experiences and answering participants’ questions.

Provided technical leadership for five students to develop a dynamic React web application to handle the logistics of running a speech and debate team serving 1000 users. Streamlined tournament registration, payments and checks, and meeting logistics by slashing 1000 hours of manual labor. Initiated a database to oversee member registration, tournament signup, payments, emails, and announcements. Accurately processed over $10k worth of transactions by integrating Stripe and PayPal into multiple forms that connected to database.
